Christian or Disciple?

When we call ourselves ‘Christian’, we feel that we have attained. Then we preach to others to come and be like us. But we need to understand that Jesus called us to be Disciples and not sit around with the label ‘CHRISTIAN’. Matt 28:19-20 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you. A disciple is active, following Jesus, ministering daily in different capacities; healing the sick, preaching the Gospel, setting captives free, baptizing in water, ministering the Holy Spirit baptism, casting out demons and making disciples that will do the exact same thing. Lets not deceive ourselves and be shocked when we stand before Jesus. He commanded us to make Disciples, NOT Christian coverts. We need to think about this carefully to avoid the ‘weeping and gnashing of teeth’ that Jesus warned about.
